Results
Mostly A's: DRY SKIN
Dry skin does not produce enough oil. The follicles are usually small and the sebum is minimal. Natural oil secretions help protect from environmental damage and aging so dry skin needs extra care since it lacks this protection. |
Mostly B's: NORMAL SKIN
Normal skin has a good oil-water balance. It can fluctuate and sometimes will be a little drier or oilier. Follicles are normal sized and the skin is usually free of blemishes. Maintenance and preventative care are the goals for this type of skin. Recommended Treatments: Customized Facial

Mostly C's: COMBINATION SKIN
Can be both oily and dry or oily and normal at the same time. The T-zone through the middle of the face on the forehead, nose and chin is oilier. This area has more sebaceous glands and larger pores. The outer areas of the face can be either normal or dry and can appear flaky from dehydration or buildup of dead skin cells. This skin type needs to be balanced and requires more care than normal skin. |
Mostly D's: OILY SKIN
Characterized by excess sebum production. The follicle size is larger and contains more oil. Oily skin requires more cleansing and exfoliating than other skin types do. It is prone to blemishes because the pores get clogged with oil and buildup of dead skin cells. |
A Note on SENSITIVE SKIN
Sensitive skin is can be experienced within every skin type. You may have sensitive skin if it feels itchy, irritated or red after taking showers, exposure to sun, using new skincare products, any time you have a blemish or even when it is touched. Skin sensitivity can be caused by using the wrong skincare products, over exfoliation, environmental factors, rosacea and vascular conditions, or topical and internal food allergies. Avoid irritating products and procedures. Recommended Treatments: Microcurrent, Sensitive Skin Facial, Jade Roller Massage
