Ayurveda is an ancient science of medicine which was developed in India. Ayurveda advocates the total health of an individual through preventative, restorative, and curative measures. The Ayurvedic Aromatherapy Consultation at Bianca's Retreat is a blending of Ayurvedic principles which includes the 3 constitutional Doshas and aromatherapy. Each of the 3 dosha's which include Vata, Pitta, and Kapha, has three possible states: normal, increased (excess), or decreased (deficient). When a dosha is imbalanced this may create a disease state which can be brought back into balance by utilizing and applying properly selected essential oils which can balance and nourish particular doshas. This service includes a holistic health consult and a therapeutic grade essential oil formulation custom made according to imbalances in the doshic constitution.
